中国网浪潮资讯 北京时间9月26日，德国著名跨界艺术家、数学家马蒂亚斯•克莱克教授给宁波学生带来了一场结合音乐演奏、数学演算、绘画讲演的艺术课。这场风趣而别开生面的艺术大师音乐会，叫做“M的三次方音乐会”。

On September 26th, Beijing time, the famous German crossover artist and mathematician, Professor Mathias Clarke, brought Ningbo students an art class with combination of music, mathematics, painting and lectures. This funny and open up a fresh outlook masters concert, called “The Cube of M Concert ".

　　马蒂亚斯•克莱克教授是德国著名的数学家。他目前在法兰克福和波恩大学担任教授，授课和研究领域是代数拓扑和微分拓扑。对于这个M的三次方，克莱克教授是这样解释的：就是德语数学、音乐、绘画三者的相加。他告诉作者：“音乐和美术很明显是艺术，但在我看来，数学也是艺术。希腊人十分重视艺术形式与数学比例的联系，而他们发现了最美的黄金分割率。”

Professor Mathias Clarke is a famous mathematician in Germany. He is a professor at University of Frankfurt and University of Bonn currently, where his lectures and research areas are algebraic topology and differential topology. For “The Cube of M", it is a combination of mathematics, music and painting. "Music and art are obviously art, but in my opinion, mathematics is also art." he told reporters. “The Greeks attached great importance to the proportion of artistic forms to mathematics, and they discovered the golden ratio of beauty."

　　这个音乐会已经在德国各地演出多次，也曾在纽约、哥本哈根以及波兰的一些城市演出，给各个领域的人们都带来了不一样的新鲜思考。

The concert has been performed in many parts of Germany, and has also performed in cities such as New York, Copenhagen and Poland. It has brought new ideas to people of all walks of life.
